Scope and Contents
This collection is a part of a greater collection entitled The Honorable Michael A. Musmanno Papers. This collection deals primarily with the efforts of Judge Musmanno to determine the truth surrounding the suicide of Adolf Hitler. The Interrogation of Hitler Associates Collection consists of 12 boxes, about 7 cubic feet of material, and one larger box containing oversized material. The records date from 1932-1987 with the bulk dates ranging from 1945-1960. The collection contains interviews, personal writings, screenplays, newspapers, and correspondence from Michael A. Musmanno, as well as commentary, of his work Ten Days to Die, including book reviews, royalty agreements and written contracts for the movie. The collection is broken up into series dealing with the Interrogation of Hitler Associates, a series devoted to Ten Days to Die with one subseries for the book and another subseries for the movies, the next series deals with documents about Adolf Hitler’s death, entitled Hitler Documents. The following series including Musmanno’s writings on Hitler, Writings on Hitler, Correspondence, and Clippings. Finally there are some photocopies and newspapers that were placed elsewhere with oversized material. There are no further restrictions on this collection.
